The Amos Project originates from Amos 9:11. It’s an obscure promise tucked away in the 9th chapter of a letter written by a farmer prophet. Yet, its implications are enormous. Amos foretold a project that God would rebirth in our day. God wanted to rebuild David’s fallen tabernacle or tent. You see, during David’s reign as King of Israel, he built a tent for God. For 33 years in that tent, David led and employed the wildest, most extravagant creative expression of worship, art and song the earth has seen. They ministered to God day and night by writing psalms, singing praises, making instruments, and ministering to God. This was David’s tent and this is
The Amos Project.
